Applications are evaluated in the order they are received. Upon acceptance, a deposit must be paid by a specified date to hold the applicant's seat. If the deposit is not received by the deadline, the applicant will be notified.
-
I have submitted my application, what should I do next? After the application is received, a Talent School team member will reach out to schedule a meeting or call. Every family who applies is required to have a meeting with the Talent School team to ensure a good fit between the family and the school's culture and academic standards. It is up to the discretion of the parent/guardian(s) to pay the deposit before or after the meeting.
-
Can I tour the campus before committing or finishing my application?Absolutely! We’d love to show you around. To schedule a campus tour, set up a one-on-one call, or learn more about our programs, just reach out to us at talentteam@thetalentschool.org. We’re here to help you get a feel for everything we offer before making your decision!
-
Do you use standardized curriculum?Yes! Along with our unique learning pathways, all our students follow a state-standardized curriculum to ensure they’re meeting essential learning goals. We continuously track their progress using tools like IXL, which lets us monitor skills mastered each day. This means you’ll have real-time visibility into your child’s strengths and areas for improvement. For instance, instead of waiting until the end of a semester to discover that your child might need extra help in language arts, you’ll know right away if they’re excelling in subject-verb agreement but might need more practice with adjectives and adverbs. We’re also partnered with Prisma learning and Miacademy for accredited curriculums, and we’re always updating our technology to keep the learning experience dynamic and engaging.
-
What are some of the learning pathways our children can choose? The possibilities are endless! We help pursue interdisciplinary pathways in entrepreneurship, theater, cryptocurrency, game development, and veterinary medicine, just to name a few.
-
Do you cover core curriculum or just electives? We cover core curriculum courses, such as reading, writing, and arithmetic. Courses are generally set at a pace of 150% learner growth, weaving them in with your child’s chosen area of interest in learning pathways for an interdisciplinary approach.
-
Do you offer sports teams? At this moment, we will be offering extracurriculars without outside competition involved. Though, we plan to partner with existing private schools in the future for those who want to participate in competition.
